Microsoft PowerPoint has a lot of features. Knowing the right ones to help you deliver your message effectively while giving you confidence in front of the room is the goal of this session. 

Beyond creating a basic slide deck in PowerPoint, there are all the features that can help you be a stellar presenter. After a brief review of crafting a basic slide deck with an outline, this session will cover PowerPoint features that support you as a presenter so you can put your best foot forward. For example:

  • What makes a slide effective?
  • How much content is too much content on a slide?
  • How to navigate during a presentation without getting lost in the deck
  • The role of the handout and speaker notes and why they’re both different from the presentation file
  • How to employ some basic animation features to get your ideas across
