Overview

During the webinar, we will look at recent changes to employee benefits to assist managers, benefit managers and personnel as well as employees in general to navigate the latest developments in this field.

Why you should Attend

Employee benefits are constantly changing. Both benefit managers and employees need to be aware of changes and trends that affect them. Some of these changes are as simple as meeting new legal requirements. Many of these benefits and trends are to help create a more productive and happier employee. Often these changes are meant to provide for the whole person and not just the employee.

Many benefits now help deal with workplace issues like stress, work life balance, nutrition and financial issues employees may encounter in life. This webinar will not only present updates on legal and compliance issues but look at new trends that are being introduced around the country to support employees not only in their work life but in life in general. In particular, there will be a focus on retirement benefits and new procedures for 401(K) and 403 (B) plans. A second area of focus will be on new compliance issues required for health care under the Affordable Care Act.

In addition, recent trends in employee benefits in different areas will be considered. One is health and wellness programs. This will include the use of artificial intelligence to develop personalized wellness programs and wearable technology for monitoring. Secondly, mental health support will be looked at.

This will include virtual therapy, mental health days, burnout prevention and work and life balance strategies. Thirdly, financial wellness that will cover debt management and assistance for employees in managing finances. Fourth, hybrid work and flexibility to meet physical and emotional needs. Fifth, using a holistic approach that deals with the physical, mental and emotional needs for employees including the need for social connection. Finally we will study other emerging trends that include environmental awareness, sleep technology, mobility fitness, stability and endurance work and mind-body therapy.
