Overview
Every manager and human resource professional need to formulate a strategy for engaging and maintaining engaged employees.
Zig Ziglar once asked a business owner how many people he had working for him. The business owner replied, “About half of them.”
Employee engagement and retention is a challenge for every business in every industry, especially in a post-covid world.
Why you should Attend
- Productivity Drops
- The morale of others can suffer especially if they have to pick up the slack
- Your customers can suffer with a lower level of customer care
- By some estimates it costs twice as much to replace and train an employee as it does to keep the employees you already have
Increased efforts to recruit and onboard - Increased investment in employee discipline

- Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
- Compensation including salaries, pay raises, promotions, and the evaluative process
- Benefits
- Career Growth Opportunities Richard Branson said, “Train people well enough so they can leave, TREAT them well enough so they don’t want to”
- Culture - as leaders we not only have an impact on our company’s culture, we create it. Learn how to create an effective and engaging workplace culture
