This webinar approaches Project Management from a fun perspective that brings the participant into a world of comfort and learning. Leveraging years of experience as a project manager, the practical applications of the technical aspects of project management will make participants eager to take on the next big project.
We will start by introducing the idea of a "thought document" that will guide us through the entire project. We can use that document to help us align our understanding of the project with expectations and processes that will ensure success.
Our discussion will spend a good amount of time explaining the two different approaches to projects so that you can decide on which one will best fit the situation that confronts you. Once we know all that we talk about the people side of the equation and how we can excel at that very important dynamic.
Finally, we talk about developing the plan itself closing out the project, and how we can recognize that it is really over.
This is the "Chicken soup" of project management if you will. Easy to digest and great for your own success.
During our careers, we will either be asked to lead a project. Perhaps, we will seek out the opportunity to lead a project. If we have never done that before or if we have but a long time has passed since the last opportunity then we may feel uncomfortable taking on that big project that is right before us. Failure to seize the opportunity may postpone a promotion, reduce our exposure to senior management or just result in a more routine job experience.
