Overview

Mental health and the lack thereof, are of primary concern today. The need for mental health providers and solutions are on the rise while the supply fails to meet the growing demand.

Quiet quitting, burnout, stress, turnover, and disengagement are just some of the symptoms signaling the case for systemic change. What is needed are scalable, trauma-informed human systems for how people think, feel, speak and act. These systems must help everyone to receive the knowledge and support needed for the healing and wholeness of the organization.

Only then will each know how to support self and others and to minimize future upset based in toxic patterns that must be dismantled and replaced. Based on recent in-depth research on trauma and stress, including developmental trauma that starts in homes and schools, the assumption needs be that most people, in every setting, are more likely than not, to have a sufficient history of trauma, which is at the root of significant levels of anxiety, depression, shut-down and debilitating stress.

Why you should Attend

You should attend if you are aware of the need for conditions and conversations that result in psychological safety, emotional intelligence, trauma-informed practices, and equity and inclusion. You should attend if you are not only aware or hopeful these are possible, but you are also convicted they are crucial to the success of meeting your every objective, including joy and fulfillment for all.

You should attend if you recognize that stress, disengagement, and struggle are clear indicators of the need for safe spaces that:

  • Transform inferiority feelings by helping one another remember the social nature and need of healthy belonging and
significance, so each feels empowered, lovable, connected, and contributing
  • Develop individuation AND social interest simultaneously. Individuation is each person being seen, heard, supported,
and validated within compassionate and curious relationships. Social interest is recognizing and being supported in
using personal power to intentionally cause positive consequences for all
  • Prioritize and teach trustworthiness, recognizing when relationships have unresolved issues, and how to overcome
them by identifying, healing, and resolving neglect or violation of specific trust behaviors
  • Scale a new model of team that goes beyond individuals committed to achieving goals, to one where each one does
this while helping each other become wildly successful, a further extension of social interest
  • Nurture understanding of key stages for developing into true community, so people move beyond playing it safe to a culture where it's safe to be straightforward, honest, and seek excellence and follow through on agreements
