Everyone is communicating but few are connecting. Being an effective listener means listening to connect with and learn something new from a person, instead of just listening to respond. Being mindful of the way you're communicating with your conversational partner will help you build relationships. At home, practicing effective listening will help develop resourceful, self-reliant kids. Being able to understand and discourse with your colleagues and supervisor can advance your career. Additionally, practicing mindful listening with your romantic partner will no doubt help foster a deeper bond.

Jeff is a Conflict Mediator, an Arkansas Law Enforcement Instructor in Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), an Honorary Colonel Arkansas State Police, and a life-time member of Rotary International.
Jeff has three associate degrees, bachelor’s degree in Corporate Training and Development, master’s degree in organizational human resource development, graduate certificate in Conflict Management, and a doctoral student in Educational Leadership.
