This course will provide you with the techniques and process to confidently assess decision situations knowing that you have gathered the best information possible, evaluated the range of options, and made a logical and defensible evaluation of the best course of action. You will also gain some skills in communicating and implementing decisions to insure a successful outcome and strong commitment to the outcome.
Making decisions is the most important thing we do. The difficult is that the decision we make today is only good or bad based on what’s happens in the future. The lack of knowing for certain that the best choice has made on the best data available paralyzes the ability to make personal, professional, and organizational decisions.
And in many cases the lack of a clear, conscious, and repeatable process that you can trust creates uneven and unpredictable outcomes. This is bad enough for making individual decisions and deadly when making decisions as a group.
Time pressure, conflicting demands, incomplete data they can make or break our ability to make good decisions. Having a clear set of criteria and being able to find the best balance between benefit and risk are the essential tools to overcome these obstacles.
