Why you should Attend

Giving a presentation can be a daunting challenge in and of itself. When you combine that will the complexity of using virtual platforms it's even more difficult.

Virtual learning is not the same as "in-person" learning. If you don't understand the differences, it will be hard to gain and maintain an audience's attention. And even if you can gain their attention a lack of familiarity with some basic properties of neuroscience will make it almost impossible for the content of your virtual presentation to be retained.

Developing the wrong type of PowerPoints, incorrectly modulating your voice and failing to inject sustained audience engagement are just a few of the pitfalls most untrained virtual presenters encounter.
