Tiffany Thomas is a labour, employment, and human rights lawyer. She has a passion and natural predisposition for practical problem-solving in the workplace. Tiffany thrives when working with employers in creating and maintaining effective and healthy workplaces.
Tiffany began her legal career with Canada’s largest school board. During this time, she gained a specialized understanding of labour, employment and human rights law. As an in-house specialist she dealt with a large and diverse workforce, comprised of both unionized and non-unionized employees, and addressed complex workplace issues from their earliest stages through to litigation (where necessary).
Since joining SpringLaw in 2022, Tiffany has continued to advise both employers and employees in unionized and non-unionized environments, providing her with a unique and specialized perspective for both the employer and employee. Tiffany regularly advises on employment contracts, terminations, and workplace issues like accommodation, discipline and employee handbooks. No matter the client, Tiffany’s goal is to provide legal services and advice in approachable and accessible way and to arm her clients with the knowledge they need to navigate complex issues.
When she’s not working, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved rescue dog, Penny.
