Kristan Rossetto R.Kin., HBSc (Human Kinetics), CCPE is a Canadian Certified Professional Ergonomist and Registered Kinesiologist with 10 years of experience working in clinical rehabilitation and occupational ergonomics, including healthcare, automotive, manufacturing, education, warehousing, retail, correctional and nuclear facilities. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics and a Graduate Certificate in Exercise Science and Lifestyle Management from Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
She is the corporate Ergonomist at a local hospital, where she supports the Occupational Health Department, through the delivery of ergonomics awareness and safe patient handling training during new employee onboarding, assistance with return to work, job suitability, and job coaching, and the completion of various ergonomics assessments. Kristan has designed and administers post-offer pre-employment testing in healthcare environments to ensure employees meet the bona fide essential duties of the job to minimize injury risk. She has also conducted design reviews for laboratory and patient registration / intake departments to ensure proposed designs were following ergonomics standards.
