Sandy Sloane , President of Solutions by Sloane is an expert in training and development, team building, special events, public relations, media, and journalism. With over three decades of experience, she helps companies and organizations of all sizes grow, heighten their awareness, and realize their full potential using a comprehensive suite of services. Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University in Occupational Therapy. She has held executive and consulting positions and has spoken for companies across many industries including Comcast, Walt Disney World, Burger King, Macy’s New York, NBC Universal, AOL, Maxwell House, Tribune Broadcasting, Herogard, Leep Foods, Rochester Rhinos Soccer League, Kaia Earth, Luminate NY, The Bonadio Group, Gannett, Tompkins Bank of Castile, Painters of Steel, Brookdale Center on Aging/Hunter College, 4th Coast Productions, and for organizations including National Women’s Hall of Fame, Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), The Second Shift, NYU, BPME, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Children’s Hospital of Denver, Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, Miami Chamber of Commerce, Visit Rochester CVB, Jewish Federation, Rochester Women’s Network, and RESOLVE among others.

Prior to founding Solutions by Sloane, Sandy was the Regional Marketing Director for Comcast Business for the entire state of Florida where her responsibilities included training hundreds of sales reps in the art of networking and follow-up.

A seasoned trainer and speaker, Sandy presents on a variety of topics utilizing an interactive approach mixing education with humor. Her warm, engaging style and use of memorable anecdotes have resulted in rave reviews and long-time clients. Her soft skills trainings and team building programs are essential for individual and team growth. She offers over forty seminars and interactive workshops designed to ensure positive experiences for team members at all levels. Her presentations have been offered in a classroom setting as well as virtually.

Sandy is the author of six published children’s picture books focusing on peer pressure, bullying, and imagination. She has been a journalist for major news publications including the Miami Herald, Sun-Sentinel, Democrat & Chronicle, and Family Circle Magazine.

Each day, Sandy lives her life with her personal philosophy of “If someone does not have a smile, give them one of yours.”
